LOU SCHNEIDER

Lou Schneider, President of Home Seal Services, Inc. holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Baltimore in Business Administration. He has been involved in the construction industry and building maintenance since 1974. Lou has served as a foreman in construction and remodeling contracting, and as a Maintenance Property Manager overseeing 9 apartment complexes consisting of over 1800 apartment units.

Currently, he is the Housing Rehabilitation Inspection Specialist for the Town of Delmar. An inspector on the Eastern Shore since 1991, he has over 5,000 inspections to his credit. Lou is also a licensed home improvement contractor and a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) and the International Code Council. Also licensed with the State of Maryland per the state's requirement beginning January 1, 2008

Additionally, Lou is an instructor for Wor-Wic Community College teaching the pre-licensing requirement for new home inspectors.

BRUCE MARLOW

Bruce Marlow, with the Home Seal Services inspection team, also has his own inspection company, By The Book Inspections, LLC, currently working on the Eastern Shore and the Annapolis areas. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Case Western University and the University of Connecticut. He has been a professional engineer with a large defense contractor for over 30 years. His experience includes building a home and all of it's sub-systems, installing and servicing many electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, as well as knowledge of their strengths and weaknesses.

He is licensed with the State of Maryland and is insured and bonded through BTB Inspections, LLC. He is a member of NAHI (National Association of Home Inspectors). Also licensed with the State of Maryland per the state's requirement beginning January 1, 2008
